RN - Shift Supervisor

Providence is calling a RN - Shift Supervisor (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for the management of the hospital during those hours when the nursing unit managers, other department managers and administration are not in house.
Be in charge of the general operation of the hospital.
Demonstrate a wide range of general nursing and unit specific skills, including application of the nursing process.
Provide leadership for the daily operations of the nursing units.
Lead and develop staff by role modeling professional practice and effective management skills.
Provide input into and helps achieve unit goals.
Support the philosophy of nursing, the goals of the institution, and the mission of Providence health and Services mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current license as a Registered Nurse with the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications within 6 months
3 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or combination thereof
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in ED

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
