Occupational Therapist

Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist (0.8 FTE, Days) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.
Relocation Assistance may be available for this position.
In this position, you will:
Manage and provide skilled occupational therapy to patients and clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities in a home setting in accordance with a physician's plan of treatment, taking into account individual patients' special or age related needs.
Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Current Occupational Therapy licensure through the State of Oregon, or temporary license if new graduate awaiting licensing exam results
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire
In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 "Background Checks", a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
