Nurse Practitioner Geratrics

Seaside, Oregon ? Providence Health & Services is seeking an excellent on-call nurse practitioner to join our innovative, comprehensive care and social services program, Providence ElderPlace. We are seeking a primary care clinician to see participants in a variety of community-based settings including clinic, assisted living, memory care, and private residences. Current, unencumbered Oregon Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
Prescriptive drug privileges and active DEA number
One year experience with a frail or elderly patient population, preferred
Education and/or experience in geriatric health care, preferred
Knowledge of geriatric medicine
Ability to conduct thorough health status assessments resulting in appropriate health care treatment plans
Ability to assess medication regimen for accuracy and efficacy
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting
In compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties. Fingerprinting may also be required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
