Physical Therapist

Providence is calling a Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.
Relocation Assistance may be available for this position.
In this position, you will:
+ Manage and provide skilled physical therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs.
+ Have skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual's functional level and potential.
Required qualifications for this position include:
+ Bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
+ Current Physical Therapy licensure through the State of Oregon, -or-
+ Temporary license if new graduate awaiting licensing exam results
+ Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
+ Valid driver license and reliable transportation
+ Driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire
+ 1 year of clinical experience in Home Health or healthcare setting, or active enrollment in the Providence postgraduate preceptor program
+ In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
