Clinic Navigator

Providence is calling a Clinic Navigator to Providence Elderplace North Coast in Seaside, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for the flow of patients seen in the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) centers.
Coordinate room set-up and clean-up.
Assist with obtaining vital signs, capillary blood glucose (CBG) results and other information needed for patient visits, completes labs requests, assists with the personal care of patients, and documents care given.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Standard First Aid
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification and CPR must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Current caregivers have until 2019 to obtain AHA-BLS certification, which then must be maintained
Medical terminology training or equivalent work experience
2 years of experience working with or caring for a frail or elderly population in a professional setting
In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties. Fingerprinting also may be required
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
Successful completion of a Providence internship

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
