Driver - ElderPlace - Seaside

Providence is calling a Driver (0.0 FTE, Days) to Providence ElderPlace North Coast in Seaside, OR.
In this position, you will:
+ Pick up and deliver geriatric, frail and/or physically limited ElderPlace participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs.
+ Perform all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Providence Health Plan mission and philosophy.
Required qualifications for this position include:
+ Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire
+ American Heart Assocation Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) within 6 months of hire Current caregivers have until 1/1/2019 to obtain AHA-BLS certification
+ 5 or more years of driving experience
+ 1 year of experience in transporting individuals with Special mobility needs
+ No more than 1 moving violation or 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
+ In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position; Fingerprinting may be required also

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
